Responsibilities:

The JDE Application Manager is responsible for using creative and critical thinking skills to support Aimbridge's JDE Financial application. While addressing application and data issues as they arise you'll serve as a liaison between the business and the development team manage multiple projects deadlines and deliverables while providing business analysis to develop new applications or maintain existing ones. You'll provide testing documentation and configuration of the applications as well as vendor and customer support. Exempt associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
* At least 8 years of experience working in Accounting and/or IT (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials 9.2 or above experience is preferred)
* Strong organizational skills attention to details.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (often required to document user requirements and processes and conduct end user training)
* Strong analytical skills
* Prefer Finance and/or Accounting expereince in Hospitality industry 
* Knowledge of Daily Reporting needs of the hospitality industry is a strong plus
* Knowledge of or prior work history in Accounts Payable is a strong plus
* Financial Systems conversions experience
* Experience with configuration, customization,  implementation and support of AP, Procurement, GL and AR modules.
* Knowledge of XML, FTP, PGP, SQL and windows batch scripting
* Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead meetings with key business stakeholders from Corporate Accounting Property Accounting and Accounts Payable to understand their requirements and priorities for the system.
* Coordinate with a 3rd party support team to understand JDE Best Practices level of effort for development requests and estimated completion dates to report back to the key business stakeholders.
* Capable of understanding both business concepts as well as technical concepts to troubleshoot issues and delegate to the appropriate teams based on findings.
* Establish and maintain policies and procedures for New User Creation, New Accounts, New Companies and Business Units and other standard support requests made by end users to allow the 3rd party support team to efficiently complete the requests.
* Support any audit requests for property or corporate financial audits.
* Monitor and troubleshoot daily weekly monthly and annual batch jobs that support vendor interfaces report schedules and Accounts Payable processes
* Work with the 3rd party support vendor for monthly performance support activities as well as technical development as needed based on business demands
