Responsibilities: Under direction of the Lead Custodian, the incumbent will provide support for the daily custodial maintenance and operation of all facilities at Naval Base Point Loma. Incumbent will perform a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities. Keeps Lead/Manager apprised of unique situations and problems encountered. Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm Pay Rate: $24.81/hourly Work Model: Onsite Qualifications: Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping, waxing and polishing floors. * Removing chips, trash, and other refuse * Dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures. * Polishing metal fixtures or trimmings. * Providing supplies and minor maintenance services. * Cleaning lavatories, showers, restrooms, windows, and air vents. * Responsible for timely reporting of accidents, injuries, and hazardous situations * Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
