Responsibilities:

Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping and receiving. Duties are not limited to the supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital or facility. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levels are optimized to support department demands.

Min hire rate for this role is $20.40/hour.

Qualifications:

One (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience

* Knowledge of the purpose, functionality and operation of automated ERP systems and processes (Lawson/Infor)
* Knowledge of the standards, practices, resources and tools applicable to inventory management, cost containment and purchasing/procurement
* Knowledge of general office principles, practices, systems and equipment.
* Knowledge of, or ability to learn, FH procedures for the acquisition, inventory and distribution of supplies/materials
* Ability to process and present data clearly
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, summarizing analysis in reports with minimal supervision.
* Ability to stay on task and meet deadlines
* Ability to keep abreast of, and comply with, internal standards and regulatory requirements regarding product recalls, product failures and returns of outdated materials.
* Ability to read, understand and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
* Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position
