Responsibilities: Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm The Inventory Team Member position will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and product losses. Quality Assurance Assistant will rotate their job assignment each month through three areas: Rotating and dropping stock-Kit production-Cycle Counting. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities * Avoid product expirations/obsolesce to minimize inventory losses and ensure that customers are shipped product with best possible shelf life. * Maintain adequate level of stock in picking locations for Freight Pullers and KCN Stockers. * Maintain adequate inventory levels of kit items and finished kits to ensure immediate delivery to customers. * Monitor inventory levels to avoid out of stock situations and ensure customer satisfaction. * Rotate overstock in freight aisles * Drop overstock into picking locations for freight aisles and for KCN flow racks * Report and correct the following: * Incorrect marked pallets (e.g. receiving/expiration dates & product numbers * Soon to expire and remove expired products from overstock/picking locations * Misplaced items or improperly labeled picking positions * Mixed Pallets, mis-received items and damaged cases/items * Prepare overstock locations for receiving Kit Production * Drop/Pull product for kit production * Prepare instructions/BOL and ship product to vendors responsible for making kits * Oversee in house kit production * Cycle count kit components and finished kits. Order & maintain adequate level of kit components. * Drop stock in mornings/Back-up dropper in afternoons * Cycle count all products according to schedule/Status inventory and usages in ALICE * Assist Inventory Coordinator in Locating Stock * Verify receiving & expiration dates are written on pallets, product numbers are accurate and clearly written on pallets * Check Expiration dates and note soon to expire and expired products * Report any misplaced items or improperly labeled picking positions * Verify proper rotation of product- (first in-first out) * Assist with Liquidating overstocked, expired and obsolete inventory * Back-up stock dropper * Other duties as determined by the needs of the business * Experience with operating a stand up forklift is preferred. Qualifications: * High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age. * One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Understanding of warehouse operations and familiarity with inventory management. * Order filling experience preferred. * Valid Driver's License. * Forklift experience preferred, but not required. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. * Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs). * Strong attention to detail and commitment to resolve problems. * Strong time management skills and prove of ability to meet deadlines. * Willing to work flexible hours and overtime on little or no advance notice.
