				Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY: The Intraoperative Surgical Procedure Assistant provides appropriate basic supportive care to patients based on the ages of the patients served on the unit (age newborn through adult). This role assists in transport of patients to/from Operating Room (OR) suites and assists in surgical procedures by setting up OR suites and securing special equipment. The assistant inventories and restocks supplies as needed for OR suites. The Intraoperative Surgical Procedure Assistant functions as intraoperative nursing support in many of the routine duties of the operating room.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education:

* High School/GED

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ​

* 6 months experience in a hospital setting
