				Responsibilities:

* Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma.
* Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures.
* Must be able to assist physicians in the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist.
* Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. 
Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.
* Maintains licensure and BLS. Stays current and participates departmental training offered.
* Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/customers.
* Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external.
* Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport).
* Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries.
* Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements.
* Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on department communications.

Qualifications:

* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with on call.
* Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technologist Program, NJ DEP license required upon hire.
* H.S. Diploma, Certificate of Completion/Degree from accredited Radiology Program or Vascular Program, associate degree preferred.
* Communication - Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required.
* Operate fluoro unit along with all supporting equipment needed to perform interventional procedures required.
