About the Internship
Embark on an enriching internship, actively engaging with our team, gaining hands-on experience, and contributing to cutting-edge security topics. Tasks may involve programming, hardware experimentation, reporting, team discussions, and presenting results. You will be an integral part of our Innovation/Knowledge and Products unit, receiving support from various team members. Enjoy the flexibility of a 3-month internship or extend it to a 6-month thesis, all while exploring a supportive and dynamic work environment.
Types of Internships
* Technical research: you would work on a research topic that focuses on answering a small set of questions. This usually entails research and development. The topic could be related to FI, SCA, embedded security, system security, software or cross-domain.
* Development: If you have a zeal to make something a.k.a working in an agile fashion and a load of coding, you can be part of the development team.

Responsibilities:
* Engage in cutting-edge Security Research tasks that challenge you to analyze vulnerabilities using advanced methods like reverse engineering, fuzzing, and hardware attacks (e.g., fault injection or side-channel analysis). Dive into penetration testing and securing critical components, including those found in mobile devices, for a hands-on and impactful experience.
* Contribute to essential documentation tasks by writing technical documents, configuring testing environments, and maintaining repositories for effective communication and issue tracking.
* Communication and collaboration:
* Interns collaborate with mentors and teams and participate in weekly discussions.
* deliver progress updates
* Final Internal presentation of the internship work
* Writing a white paper / article / blog
* Interns gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and work on impactful projects contributing to product security in areas like embedded systems, mobile devices, and IoT.

Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, embrace innovation, communicate effectively, excel in both independent and team settings, and stay goal-oriented while taking practical steps towards achieving objectives.
General requirements:
* Affinity with side channel analysis (SCA) and fault injection (FI).
* Embedded system development experience or FPGA development experience
* Hands on experience with SCA and FI is a plus
* Proficient in English language
* Availability of minimum of 3 months, at least 4 days a week
* You are enrolled as a Bachelor/Master/PhD student
* Good command of English Language (written and spoken)
* Affinity with SCA or FI is needed
* Hands on experience with SCA or FI is a plus
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player spirit
* Commitment and a pro-active can-do attitude
* Eager to learn quickly and adapt
