Keysight Device Security Lab (former Riscure) is a an ambitious unit specializing in device and embedded security testing for leading international clients from the semiconductor, mobile, media, automotive and IoT industry. Our creative, and growing 170+ team collaborate with top international clients and leading companies on high-end technical projects. About the Internship: Embark on an exciting journey where you will collaborate closely with our dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to cutting-edge security projects. From programming to hardware experimentation and team discussions, you will be immersed in a supportive environment that encourages growth and innovation. Join our Innovation/Knowledge and Services or Products unit, where you will receive mentorship from various experts. Enjoy the flexibility of a 3 to 6-month internship or thesis, with the possibility of extension. Types of Internships: * Technical research: you would work on a research topic that focuses on answering a small set of questions. This usually entails research and development. The topic could be related to FI, SCA, embedded security, system security, software or cross-domain. * Development: If you have a zeal to make something a.k.a working in an agile fashion and a load of coding, you can be part of the development team. What we offer: * Appropriate compensation for the internship * Opportunity to work with Keysight equipment's (based on your topic) * Lunch at work * Travel allowance * Intern Quarter of the year Responsibilities: * Engage in cutting-edge Security Research tasks that include analyzing vulnerabilities through advanced methods like reverse engineering, fuzzing, and hardware attacks. Dive into penetration testing and safeguarding crucial components, including those found in mobile devices, as part of your impactful role. * Immerse yourself in the world of Documentation, where you will craft technical documents, establish testing environments, and oversee repositories for seamless communication and issue tracking, all integral parts of your role. * Communication and collaboration: * Interns collaborate with mentors and teams, participate in weekly discussions * deliver progress updates * Final Internal presentation of the internship work * Writing a white paper / article / blog * Skill Development: Interns gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and work on impactful projects that contribute to product security in areas like embedded systems, mobile devices, and IoT Qualifications: The ideal candidate should demonstrate independence, enthusiasm, creativity, motivation, and a proactive approach to challenges. They should possess strong communication skills, be able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, and maintain a goal-oriented mindset to achieve results. Summary: Implementing and verifying machine learning techniques for side-channel analysis. You will be exploring state-of-the art machine learning techniques for side-channel analysis and comparing your results against existing models and classical SCA methods. General requirements: * Proficiency in English language is a must * Commitment of at least 3 months, with a minimum of 4 days per week * You are enrolled as a Bachelor/Master/PhD student * Good command of English Language (written and spoken) * Experience with machine learning and data analysis is required. * Experience with Side channel analysis is very much preferred. * Strong communication skills * Ability to collaborate effectively in a team * Commitment and a pro-active can-do attitude * Eager to learn quickly and adapt * Creative in finding solutions to problems Careers Privacy Statement ***Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.***
