				Overview:

Accounting Team members who manage the company's financial records, develop budgets, oversee payroll, prepare financial reports and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

Responsibilities:

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager - International Tax in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position can be located in either our Germantown, Maryland or Englewood, Colorado locations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing international components of the corporate quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740
* Supporting transfer pricing analysis and documentation
* Researching international tax issues
* Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of international tax structuring and planning projects and/or acquisitions, working with accounting, legal, treasury, and other internal and external groups
* Managing the information gathering and preparation of certain international income tax returns of foreign subsidiaries prepared by external tax consultants
* Coordinating and involvement in other critical tax areas, including transfer pricing
* Supporting tax examinations in both U.S. and non-U.S. jurisdictions
* Supporting the preparation of international aspects of U.S. consolidated tax return including, but not limited to, Forms 5471 and 8858, Subpart F and other U.S. inclusions, foreign tax credit, and applicable statements/elections

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: 

* BS/BA in Accounting
* 7+ years of international tax experience including extensive exposure to U.S. outbound international tax issues

Skills and Qualifications:

* CPA preferred
* Familiarity with OneSource Tax Provision Software or Longview Tax Provision Software
* Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle
* Strong technical skills and experience in ASC 740 preferred
* Solid understanding of transfer pricing concepts
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to articulate complex technical tax and accounting concepts to colleagues and management
* Good conceptual, critical thinking, analytical, quantitative skills and the ability to problem solve
* Must be able to work independently
* Strong Excel Modeling Skills

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
