The Strategic Internal Consultant position offers a launch pad into different areas of the business, with room to grow within the organization and build a long-term career. You'll be at the center of driving our strategic initiatives, collaborating across teams to deliver high-value outcomes that align with our business goals.

This position is hybrid out of any AmTrust office. 3 days in the office, 2 days work from home.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the development of comprehensive business strategies and target operating models in partnership with leadership.
* Conduct business capability discovery, analysis and define capabilities needed to meet business objectives, transforming business strategy into a tactical roadmap. 
* Perform research and current state analysis; define challenges and pain points to identify improvement opportunities.
* Lead the development and implementation of strategic projects.
* Partner with Product Owners and Delivery/Execution team in the identification and hand off of high-level business requirements for technical development.
* Leverage critical- thinking and problem-solving skills to identify potential solutions and mitigate risks in ambiguous scenarios; while maintaining a proactive, agile approach.
* Provide transparency to key stakeholders, highlighting risks, issues and proposing recommendations while maintaining realistic expectations with key stakeholders.
* Develop full scale project plans, define, track and deliver project milestones and benefits.
* In partnership with the business, implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

Qualifications:

* Requires 2+ years of management consulting experience
* MBA preferred.
* Knowledge of property and casualty insurance business, industry and market dynamics preferred.
* Demonstrated business experience with working knowledge of business analysis, process improvement and /or business architecture. 
* Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected information, analyze data, identify patterns and articulate relevance 
* Ability to convey ideas and information in simple and easy to understand ways.
*  Experience in developing strong, trusted partnerships across all levels and partners in a highly collaborative and matrixed organization to drive outcomes. 
* Highly adaptable, with the ability to proactively accommodate shifting priorities and aggressive timelines.
* A high degree of comfort and effectiveness in navigating ambiguity and creating clarity in fast moving environments.
* Data and financial analysis skills
* Product Management experience
* Agile Development lifecycle experience
* Process improvement experience
* Program Management experience
* Change Management experience

The expected salary range for this role is $126,200-$150,000/year.
