Overview: Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a full-time Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency program at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and teach residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates with excellent clinical skills, strong communication and a commitment to outstanding patient care and medical education are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: * Join a dynamic network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support. * Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. * This opportunity is 80% Clinical and 20% Academic. * Provide direct patient care on the internal medicine faculty inpatient service and in the outpatient clinics. * Supervise, teach, mentor and evaluate residents and students rotating on both the inpatient service and at the outpatient clinics. * Participate in the residency and medical student didactics series including lectures, morning report, journal club and morbidity and mortality. * Participate in residency interviews and recruitment processes. Qualifications: * M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School * Residency training in Internal Medicine * Board-certified/Board-eligible in Internal Medicine * Ability to obtain New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS license. * Excellent clinical and teaching skills. * Proven commitment to research and quality improvement.
