Responsibilities:

The Communications Specialist for the "IT & Solutions" department of SoftwareOne is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that support "IT & Solutions" initiatives across the organization. This role will also drive organizational change efforts, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with "IT & Solutions" endeavors within SoftwareOne.
Key Responsibilities are:
* Communication Strategy Development: Design and implement plans to effectively convey "IT & Solutions" initiatives to internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent messaging aligned with organizational objectives.

* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, tailoring communication efforts to diverse audiences.

* Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative communication materials, including emails, newsletters, presentations, and intranet content, aligned with the company's brand and messaging guidelines.

* Platform, Knowledge & Community Management: Manage internal communication platforms and knowledge-sharing tools, encouraging collaboration and information sharing among employees.

* Measurement and Reporting: Supervise and evaluate the efficiency of communication efforts, using data and feedback to continuously improve strategies and tactics.

* Change Management: Develop strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during "IT & Solutions" implementations, collaborating with project teams to identify and mitigate potential resistance.

* Collaboration: Ensure a cohesive approach to internal communications by working closely with other communications professionals and sharing best practices.

* Onboarding & Integration: Design and drive the onboarding process for new hires in "IT & Solutions", ensuring they are well-informed and integrated smoothly into the organization.

* Employee Engagement: Improve engagement within "IT & Solutions" teams by crafting opportunities for feedback, idea sharing, and recognition efforts.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
* 2+ years of experience in developing and executing communication plans and strategies, as well as experience in conducting change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis.
* Strong understanding of corporate communication principles, best practices, and proficiency in crafting and delivering corporate messages.
* International mindset and ability to engage with colleagues from all around the world.
* Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading with attention to detail
* Capable of translating sophisticated IT concepts into clear messages for diverse audiences
* Skilled in using M365 Suite, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, and PowerPoint
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* Effective in both independent and collaborative work in a dynamic environment
* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
* Knowledgeable in organizational change methodologies and tools
* Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships at all organizational levels
* Creative and strategic problem solver with innovative communication solutions
* Excellent organizational and project management abilities
