This summer, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Production Planning Transformation Team and contribute to the transformation of our Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling processes.
Role Overview: As a Summer Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the implementation of new Production Planning processes across our manufacturing network. You will work closely with our Supply Chain, Production Planning, and Manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for improvement, particularly in modelling the manufacturing process into the planning system to enhance overall efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on our operations.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in analyzing current Production Planning processes and identify areas for improvement.
* Support the development and implementation of new processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
* Assist in the documentation of new processes and ensure proper training for relevant team members.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights.
* Participate in project meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and solutions.
* Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* A passion for problem-solving and innovation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience of Life Science manufacturing beneficial
* Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4 or APO an advantage, but not required
* Data analysis experience, particularly using PowerBI and/or Celonis welcomed
