				Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic college intern with a strong foundation in computer science and hands-on experience in Java programming. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside experienced developers on meaningful projects. 

This is a full-time position that will span over the course of 10 weeks. The program will start Monday, June 2nd, 2024 and end Friday, August 8th.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design, development, and testing of Java-based applications.
* Collaborate with team members in agile development environments.
* Help with documentation and user guides for internal tools or applications.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
* Debug and resolve software defects and issues.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
* Research and implement solutions to technical challenges.

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Familiarity with Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
* Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic software development principles.
* Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
* Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred (Not Required):

* Knowledge of additional programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
* Exposure to Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
* Experience with basic web development (HTML/CSS/JS).
* Previous internship or personal projects related to software development.
