Overview:
This Intern will capture and convey the mission, stories, and community impact of Novant Health through professional photography and videography. They will attend community events weekly and deliver 3-5 high quality, edited images and 30 seconds of engaging video content following each event. This work will play a crucial role in highlighting Novant Health's initiatives and connecting with our audience in meaningful ways.
This Intern will Conduct photoshoots at local community events within one of three designated regions:
* Forsyth, Davie, Guilford, Davidson, Stokes, Sury and Yadkin Counties
* Mecklenburg, Rowan and Union Counties
* Brunswick, New Hanover and Pender Counties

Qualifications:
* Education:
* High School Diploma or GED, required. Currently studying Media/Photography or has a background in photography, with at least hobbyist-level experience, preferred
* Experience:
* Currently studying Media/Photography or has a background in photography, with at least hobbyist-level experience, preferred
* Additional Skills Required:
* Access to a professional digital camera
* Ability to work majority evenings and weekends
* Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for composition and storytelling
* Proficiency in Photoshop or other photo and video editing software
* Ability to submit finalized photos and videos within 3 days of events
* Access to a PC or Mac with adequate storage capacity
* Reliable transportation to travel to events punctually
* Flexible schedule with availability for up to 10 hours per week
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
* Additional Skills Preferred: Intellectual depth, moral integrity, personal vision, creativity, leadership skills, fortitude, sincerity, and diplomacy. Ability to work independently and as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside of Novant Health.
