What you'll be challenged to do:
During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Support real client projects by performing GIS spatial analyses using ESRI software.
* Create and edit geospatial cadastral, transportation, and municipal infrastructure datasets.
* Compile and organize GIS data from maps, databases and other sources.
Qualifications:
What you'll bring to our firm:
* Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Environmental Science, or a GIS-related field.
* Demonstrated interest in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through applied academic coursework, work experiences, or prior internships.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Dynamic, personable and self-motivated personality with the ability to work as part of a distributed team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What we prefer you bring:
* Prior experience with ArcGIS Pro software and ESRI products.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $20.00 - $28.00 per hour. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
