Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated intern to join Hines Italy's Asset Management in Milan who would support senior team members on wide range of activities. The successful candidate will:
* Update financial models with actuals and forecasts
* Conduct financial analysis and sensitivities on the models, comparing returns outcome
* Support on the asset management activities, including leasing and sale processes
* Provide financial and qualitative analysis and prepare investment memos for Board Approvals
* Draft documents and presentations for internal/external use and governance bodies
* Liaise with third parties as investors, lenders, brokers, tenants and legal/tax advisors
* Join commercial due diligence activities including market analysis and lease reviews
* Support the project management team on the technical activities
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:
* Studied or are studying towards a degree in Economics, Finance or Real Estate
* The preferred candidate has already completed all the exams (or close to) and is the process of preparing the final dissertation
* No prior real estate experience is required, however a strong interest in the field and willingness to learn are fundamental​. Strong passion for real estate sector
* Fluent English
* Excellent command of English (particularly written)
* Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
* Strong analytical skills
* Proactive and autonomous approach
* Able to manage different tasks under pressure
* Understand the mechanics of the Italian real estate market and the entire asset management process
