POSITION SUMMARY: The Interface Specialist II participates in project scope and assumption definition, and could serve as the system administrator for the interface engine. The Interface Specialist II works with users to analyze business needs and information requirements related to assigned projects. Works with project team members, OSF user departments, vendors, and consultants to ensure technical compatibility and integration. This person is responsible for the technical support of interfaces and system integration including Application to Application (A2A) and Business to Business interfaces (B2B). This position works closely with those we serve to troubleshoot and correct problems relating to interface and file transfer functionality, assists with conversions to and implementations of software products, and develops interfaces to provide integration between systems as well as business partners internal and external to OSF HealthCare. The Interface Specialist II is proactive in identifying Enterprise wide application requirements and communicating solutions to those we serve.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education: Associate's Degree
* Licenses/Certifications: Must have at least 1 certification in area of discipline within 18 months of hire. Certification could be obtained through internally provided training. Certifications must be maintained.
* 3 years' work experience with using information technology
* 1 year experience with application implementation and support
Other skills/knowledge:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in related field
* Experience with using information technology in Healthcare industry.
* Experience with key OSF applications
