Responsibilities:

*  Review and validate homeowner's insurance policies for coverage, dates, and accuracy.

*  Ensure timely receipt and input of insurance policy updates into servicing systems.

*  Monitor for lapses in coverage or insufficient policies.

*  Coordinate placement and cancellation of lender-placed insurance when required.

*  Notify borrowers of impending LPI actions and follow appropriate procedures.

*  Contact borrowers or insurance agents to obtain current insurance information.

*  Respond to inquiries regarding insurance coverage, escrow accounts, and LPI.

*  Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., RESPA, CFPB) and investor guidelines (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac).

*  Document all communications and actions accurately in the loan servicing system.

*  Work with escrow, loss mitigation, customer service, and other departments as needed.

*  Assist in audits, quality control reviews, and reporting.

Qualifications:

Must-Have Qualifications:

*  1-3 years of insurance verification, mortgage servicing, or escrow experience

*  Knowledge of insurance terminology and mortgage industry practices

*  Strong attention to detail and accuracy

*  Excellent verbal and written communication

*  Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

*  High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Have Qualifications:

*  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field  

*  Familiarity with force-placed insurance processes

*  Experience with servicing platforms like Black Knight, LoanServ, or equivalent

*  Bilingual (Spanish)
