				Overview:

Position: Insurance Services Specialist

Location: Austin, TX (on-site 5 days per week).  After 90 days, will be hybrid Wednesdays & Thursdays in Austin office.

Salary: $22/hr - $27/hr depending on experience + full time benefits

Position Summary:

This position will report to the Supervisor in Insurance Servicing and will directly support the requirements development and implementation of the Black Knight loan servicing system. This position requires the ability to research issues on mortgage loans. 

Responsibilities:

1. Has knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts and practices and procedures within the mortgage industry;
2. Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure;
3. Handle simultaneous tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. 
4. Able to work independently, as well as part of a team;
5. Good business writing skills;
6. Analytical and organized;
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
8. Strong PC skills. Must be proficient in MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Office Suite;
9. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including senior executives, managers, subject matter experts, and third-party business partners;
10. This position will be responsible for maintenance of loans with escrowed hazard insurance and active flood zone dwellings;
11. Assists in retrieval of requested insurance and flood related documents;
12. Assists in clerical duties related to insurance and flood mail as requested;
13. Assist with data entry of insurance and flood information;
14. Assists in reviewing insurance and flood documents as requested;
15. Assist in maintaining and preparing insurance and/or flood report data and records;
16. Works reports centralized on insurance and flood on a daily, weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis;
17. Works insurance and flood related tasks within MSP;
18. Works to handle flood and/or insurance coverage disputes;
19. Works to streamline insurance, flood monitoring processes;
20. Communicates with insurance and flood vendors as needed;
21. Communicates as needed with originations and servicing regarding insurance and flood guidelines and requirements;
22. Communicates with borrowers, insurance agents, and title companies as necessary to resolve inquiries;
23. Assist in researching and resolving complaints;
24. Handles additional reporting as directed by management;
25. Assists in other areas of Servicing as needed.

Qualifications:

Desired Education/Experience:

* MSP knowledge 
* 2+ years of mortgage servicing experience
