Overview: Responsibilities: Analyzes insurance medical necessity requirements and benefits to ensure requirements are met for claims to be submitted according to IH's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position Desired Qualifications: Working knowledge of medical/insurance terminology Demonstrated ability to analyze and explain insurance requirements and benefits Working knowledge of insurance regulations, billing procedures and diagnosis coding Working knowledge of automated UB92 and/or HCFA 1500 billing Working knowledge of hospital registration procedures
