				Overview:

Tests and repairs instrumentation systems utilized by equipment to ensure adherence to established performance levels and product quality. Evaluates instruments to establish plans for repair. Documents and verifies problems and actions taken.

Responsibilities:

Major Job Activities

*  Inspects, tests, adjusts, and repairs electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and control Desal / Water plant operations. 

*  Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations. Tests accuracy of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators and controllers to locate defective components in system using test equipment such as ammeters and voltmeters. 

*  Traces out and tests electronic equipment such as VFD's and SCADA systems to locate defective parts in analog and digital systems using test equipment, schematics, and maintenance manuals. 

*  Disassembles, cleans instruments, and replaces defective parts using hand tools. 

*  Test and repair water pumps and motors to include changing mechanical seals and bearing when necessary. 

*  Lubricates pumps and motors as required per manufacturers specifications. Perform Preventive Maintenance on all equipment as required. 

*  Performed ROWPU (Reverse Osmosis Water Processing Unit) for Calibration 

*  Pump and Motor Maintenance 

*  Troubleshooting process control, repair, replace and reprogram VFD control

*  RO Unit PLC
* SCADA Powerflex 753
* MicroLogix 1400
* Pressure and Level Transmitters
* Gauges and Electronics Equipment
* Performed Calibration Fluke Multimeter
* Clamp AmmeterTemperature Meters
* Thermocouple using Fluke 5522A
* Fluke Documenting Process Calibrator 753/754 and 726 series.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

*  Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience Preferred

*  Certified on Multiple Types of Electronic Equipment to include Meters and BTEX

*  Must be able to successful complete a background check and health screening

*  Must have a valid Real ID Driver's License

*  Must be fluent in English

Experience:

*  Five 5-years' previous experience performing calibrations on pressure gauges and repairing SCADA Systems preferred

Skills: 

*  Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth

*  Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English

*  Promotes the Company's safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.

*  Ability to handle physical workload                                                                                                    
*  Must be able to provide excellent customer service and present a professional appearance.

Physical Activity: 

*  Must be able to lift up to 20lbs without assistance

*  Must be able to wear Personnel Protective Equipment, such as gloves, safety shoes, safety glasses, etc.
