As Account Manager, you are an ambassador of Waters and will bring to the market Waters' products and services. You will demonstrate a clear grasp of understanding the customers' business and its growth plans, as well as be able to take the knowledge and convert that into a solution and offering from Waters, with a primary aim of bringing "customer success". This position brings you a great degree of flexibility working in the field. Your role will be designated to either a territory and/or markets.

Own inbound instrument lead response and opportunity development for an assigned customer segment. Qualify needs, support quoting, and work with Field Sales, Marketing, Applications and Service to drive conversion and customer success.
* Respond to inbound leads (web, campaigns, events, referrals) and qualify them into sales-ready opportunities.
* Run outbound calling and targeted outreach to develop pipeline in assigned accounts and segments.
* Prepare and follow up quotations; coordinate internal resources (Product, Applications, Service) to meet customer requirements.
* Partner with Field Sales to hand off qualified opportunities and support deal progression.
* Maintain accurate CRM records (customer data, activities, opportunity stage and forecast) and ensure data quality.
* Follow up post-event leads and provide feedback to Marketing on lead quality and conversion.
* Build baseline product and application knowledge and engage specialists for complex technical discussions.

Education:
Bachelor's degree required; science or engineering preferred (e.g., chemistry, materials science, physics, engineering).
Experience:
Experience in inside sales, sales support, or scientific instrumentation preferred; lab experience is a plus.
Competencies:
Strong phone and written communication skills. Organized, data-driven and able to manage multiple priorities. Proficient with CRM and Microsoft Office. Fluent Mandarin with good working English.
Travel:
Travel as needed (typically limited).
