				Overview:

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive technical training programs in support of our federal client. You will work as part of a cross-functional team-including other types of design and technical experts-engaging with stakeholders and end-users to develop an effective approach and ensure adoption of new systems and processes.

* Outline and understand end users to create training appropriate to meet their diverse needs
* Analyze existing training materials and business processes to identify learning gaps/needs and opportunities for improvement
* Conduct user research to determine learning content scope and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to structure learning paths
* Develop interactive and engaging training materials using a variety of modalities (videos, user guides, eLearning, etc.) with learner theories in mind (ADDIE, Bloom's, Spiral Model, etc.) to create dynamic learning experiences
* Incorporate proper implementation of knowledge checks and compliance tracking 
* Facilitate training development and delivery
* Establish metrics and measure user adoption 
* Facilitate learning management system administration, usage, and develop feedback loops for enhancement 
* Consider long-term governance for sustaining training programs and materials

Qualifications:

Qualifications 

* Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
* 4+ years of experience in Education, Training, or a related field
* Thorough knowledge of the full training life cycle and demonstrated ability to develop and implement
* Knowledge of contemporary learning management software platforms
* Experience with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
* Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand
* Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary delivery team including UX/UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, solution architects, and change managers 
* A collaborative nature with excellent written communication and presentation skills  
* Familiarity with Design Thinking and a natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with strong analytical skills  
* Experience with 508 compliant training
* Experience working in an agile project-based environment
* Proficiency in MS Office and Training tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond)
* Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent education and/or experience in Training and Instructional Design
