				Overview:

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive onboarding and training program in support of our Federal client. You will work as part of a cross-functional team-including designers and technical experts-engaging with stakeholders and end-users to develop an effective approach and ensure adoption of new systems and processes.

* Outline and understand end users to create training appropriate to meet their diverse needs
* Analyze existing training materials and business processes to identify learning gaps/needs and opportunities for improvement
* Research appropriate learning content and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to structure learning paths 
* Develop interactive and engaging training materials using a variety of modalities (videos, user guides, gamified learning, etc.) with learner theories in mind (ADDIE, Bloom's, SAM, etc.) to create dynamic learning experiences 
* Determine utilization of knowledge checks and compliance tracking 
* Lead the training development and delivery
* Establish metrics and measure user adoption 
* Facilitate learning management system administration, usage, and develop feedback loop for enhancement 
* Consider long-term governance for sustaining training programs and materials 

Qualifications:

* Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
* 4+ years of experience in Education, Training, HR, or related field
* Thorough knowledge of the full training life cycle and demonstrated ability to develop and implement
* Knowledge of contemporary learning management software platforms
* Experience with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
* Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand
* Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary delivery team including UX/UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, solution architects, and change managers 
* A collaborative nature with excellent written communication and presentation skills  
* Familiarity with Design Thinking and a natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with strong analytical skills  
* Experience working in a project-based environment  
* Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
* Bachelor's degree and 7+ total years of experience or equivalent experience in Training and Instructional Design and education
* Must be able to travel across US (10%)
