Responsibilities:
GFT is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Construction Services Team in Middletown, NY. This role requiring regular attendance in Middletown, NY office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
We are seeking a Construction Inspector to support our growing team in the Orange County, NY area for upcoming projects. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that construction projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
* Must perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Flemings Quality Management Protocols (QMP)
* Complete daily inspection reports on a daily basis
* Represent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearance
* Be onsite during contractor work activities
* Report and take directions from the Resident Engineer
Qualifications:
What you'll bring to our firm:
* High School Diploma
* NICET Highway Construction Inspection Level II, III, or IV
* Experience with NYSDOT preferred
* Must understand comprehensive construction drawings, standard specifications and Shop Drawing submittals
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Computer literate including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows
* Ability to travel and work flexible schedules including overtime and potential nightwork
* Must be physically capable and willing to work outdoors, maneuver difficult terrain and pass a medical evaluation
* Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to, from and around project locations
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $125,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
