				Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary INSIDE SERVICE SALES & SALES COORDINATION SPECIALIST(Temporary) position  to be part of our Service Sales Team at Waters.

The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for developing service business across all products whilst ensuring the retention of the existing client base. The key objective being to achieve the sales target for the designated territory.

This role also supports sales activities in Portugal, with a strong focus on tender execution and cross‑division coordination. 

Position will be located at Lisbon office.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities include: 

* Acting as Inside Sales for Service Sales and billable activities (70% of the time) to support our Service revenue locally.
* Supporting admin paperwork for Portuguese tenders regarding Systems, Service, Chemistry, Clinical (15% of the time).
* Handling administrative duties in the Lisbon office (including call center, mail management, etc.) (15% of the time).
* Managing the entire Service Plan and establishing partnerships with our customers.
* Develop and Follow-up on Service on Demand business Opportunities. Includes creating quotes and follow-up for:
*  Corrective onsite Time and Materials 
*  Depot repair for correctives
*  Spares and consumables
*  Professional Services
* Onsite & remote training (Software & Instruments)
* Software workstations upgrade (Empower Personal, Masslynx & Waters Connect)
* Instrument Upgrades
* Validation Services
* Relocations
* Customer Self-Service Qualifications (SQT Self Directed)

* Managing resources, liaising and educating across departments - working closely with support groups (e.g. Instrument Sales, Chemistry Operation, Informatics, Marketing and Order Entry) in addition to close cooperation with the operational Service Managers and Engineers.
* Planning and prioritising personal time and sales activities.
* Managing the plan product mix, upgrades, customer education, professional services and pricing to agreed targets.
* Using and updating the customer relationship management system, the service plan quotation system, and other systems as required.
* Coordinate systems sales activities and improve tender execution and ensure timely, compliant submissions
* Act as a key interface between sales teams, internal stakeholders, and customers

Qualifications:

The successful candidate is likely to have the following competencies:

* Highly motivated individual with charisma, perseverance and drive, plus the ability to work effectively in pressurised sales situations.
* Customer focused with excellent listening skills.
* Ability to understand and communicate technical & commercial values.
* Good interpersonal skills with a positive sense of humour and must be a good team player - prepared to work as a member of an integrated sales/service organisation.
* Good priority setting and organizational skills.
* Knowledge of computers and the use of standard Windows-based packages (knowledge of a Waters chromatography or mass spectrometry data system would be desirable)

Qualifications & Experience

* Background in service or systems sales
* Experience in regulated or public tender environments
* Technical sales experience, ideally in the software or mass spec field

* Experience in a laboratory, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry would be a plus
