				Overview:

Waters' TA Instruments Division is seeking a dynamic individual who is early in their career to join our technical inside sales team. The inside sales specialist is one of the driving forces behind our business, working directly with customers to strengthen account relationships, prospect for new business opportunities, and provide an outstanding customer experience.

The foundation of the Inside Sales Specialist role is to develop a keen understanding of customers' needs and challenges and design product solutions with lasting and meaningful business impact. You will develop and implement a territorial business plan in alignment with sales objectives and partner with field sales, applications support specialists, product management, and marketing colleagues to complete business development activities.

This role is remote, ideally based out of the western/central/southwestern United States. The desired candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish. Occasional travel to trade shows, customer events, and meetings will be expected.

The general base pay for this position ranges from $50,500 to $67,000 per year. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities:

* Drive Sales - Independently and collaboratively by increasing market-share at existing accounts and by prospecting within their territory for new business opportunities.
* Customer Relationship Building - Communication with and sell to end users and decision makers. 
* Goals - Meet or exceed sales-oriented metrics.
* Data Analytics - Utilizing territory reports and updates on business development initiatives in order to target prospects.
* Database Management - Using TA Instruments CRM to track sales activities, open opportunities and campaign follow-up initiatives.

Qualifications:

* A Bachelor's degree is required. A science degree is preferred in any of the following fields: chemistry, biology, materials science, physics, engineering, etc. 
* Candidate must be customer-focused and have exceptional written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills. 
* Fluently speaks English and Spanish.
* Can work independently and as a team across various regions and departments.
* Experience working in a laboratory setting or with customers is strongly desired.
* Basic understanding of thermal analysis or rheology is desired.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).
