Overview:
We are seeking a driven, self-starting, entrepreneurial-minded Sales Development Representative in our North American market as a seasoned sales professional to join our team! Someone who would be excited to have an opportunity building out a market and self-generate opportunities for organic growth within a subscription-based sales channel. It's an excellent opportunity to build relationships and rapport while presenting service products that provide strong ROI for the practice and reporting that enriches our customers laboratories.
Responsibilities:
* Market and territory development including cold-call prospecting and relationship building with potential customers
* Present, sell and place service products and service contracts to new and existing customers within your territory
* Schedule and deliver in practice demonstrations and presentations of the product to customers through remote and in some instances live interactions
* Maintain activity capable of hitting targeted demonstration and sales plans as specified
* Maintain relationships with your customers building a mutual partnership of success, setting expectations with clear follow through and rewarding good buying behaviors
* Own your territory as a small business entrepreneur, and build a consistent organic growth within our vast install base
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in sales with hunter mentality and mid to strong sales knowledge important, No laboratory experience necessary
* Familiarity and comfort working within CRM platform - Salesforce
* Strong Ability to build rapport with prospects and clients
* Determination, drive, and ingenuity to overcome obstacles
* Strong negotiation and closing skills
* Deadline and detail oriented as a self-starter, able to deliver while working independently
* Ability to travel 25% for customer visits as well as internal meetings/training accordingly

* Performance based position compensated on an hourly basis with a sales commission component including accelerators for over achievement to plan. This is not an entry level position.
