Overview: Student must be willing to support work in the I-80 region: OSF St. Paul Medical Center Mendota, OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru. Internship will be working onsite. POSITION SUMMARY: The I-80 Innovation Hub is requiring short-term assistance in the development and launch of a STEAM brogram across the I-80 Market. To support the ROE contract to roll out STEAM resources that have been deveolped by OSF HealthCare. This intern will report to the Innovation hub liason and ensure expanded access to OSF innovation for our Mission Partners and community partners. Scope for the intern, includes: * Optimization of the I-80 Web Portal * Support for active and emerging pilot projects * Co-sponsorship of the Youth Advisory Board Pilot * Leadership of the 2026 STEAM Camp planning committee * Creation of a monthly innovation blog for the portal * Participation in job fairs and school events * Structured leadership shadowing experiences The role was specifically designed for students pursuing healthcare careers, such as nursing, medical school, biomedical engineering, etc; with the intent of cultivating cross-disciplinary thinking, communication skills, and self-directed learning. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Junior or Senior in college. This intern must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with various individuals throughout OSF Healthcare. Ability to multi-task, coordinate multiple projects, and have proven attention to detail. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
