Overview: Physiotherapy Associates is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting a medical manufacturing and distribution center in Johns Creek, GA. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being. Position: Injury Prevention Specialist Location: 3680 Pleasant Hill Rd Ste 101, Duluth, GA 30096 (on-site in Johns Creek, GA) Type of Employment: Part-time Schedule: Tuesday/Friday (9am-1 pm), Wednesday/Thursday (1pm-5 pm) Compensation: Starting at $25/hr, commensurate based on years of experience Part-time Perks: * Continuing Education: Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learning * Career Growth: Access to a nationwide, professional support network * 401(k): Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar year * Diversity: Work with a variety of team sizes, patient populations, and specialties Responsibilities: What will you be doing in this role? * Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement * Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits * Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs * Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention * Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury * Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees * Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree * Minimum one year of experience * CPR certification * Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in an industrial setting
