Overview: Select Physical Therapy is currently hiring a PRN Injury Prevention-WorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. New hire to perform job-specific testing (POET) approximately 15 hours/week. Working directly with a physical therapist. Must be highly organized and complete reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Position: Injury Prevention Specialist Location: 2670 Forest Hill Blvd, West Palm Beach 33406 Type of Employment: PRN/PerDiem Schedule: PRN, Approx 15 hours per week as needed Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00, hourly, based on years of experience PRN Perks: * Continuing Education: Free in-person and online CEUs to keep learning * Career Growth: Access to a nationwide, professional support network * 401(k): Company matching 401(k) after 1,000 hours in a calendar year * Diversity: Work with a variety of team sizes, patient populations, and specialties Responsibilities: * Completing necessary requirements for Post Offer Employment Testing * Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for services * Regular communication with both client and Select leadership * Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions * Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment * Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) * Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree * CPR certification * Strong knowledge of lifting body mechanics Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in testing protocols
