Overview: Select Physical Therapy is seeking a Full Time Injury Prevention Specialist in Miami, FL! This position is for an Athletic Trainer or Exercise Physiologist, required to be on-site, providing injury prevention services at American Airlines in Miami, FL. Compensation: Commensurate with experience, starting at $49k-$54k/yr Schedule: M-F, 10-6 pm Benefits: * Unmatched continuing education program with internal CEU courses, national certifications and more. FREE for ATC's! * Company matching 401(k) * Affordable PPO Benefits * Generous Paid Time Off Responsibilities: * On-site coverage for industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager * Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include: * Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort * Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions * Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching * Job coaching and behavior modification both one-on-one and in group settings * Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics * Office ergonomics * Health and wellness consultation * Documentation and reporting on employee encounters * Regular communication with both client and Select leadership Qualifications: * BS Degree REQUIRED * Minimum one year experience, industrial setting experience a plus * Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Position requires a strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
