Overview: CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Heath, a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities. Responsibilities: Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health. * Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and managing appointments for outpatient infusions and procedures. * Performs infusion and procedures as ordered. * Coordinates with other clinical departments and ancillary services to ensure timely delivery of care. * May delegate performance of some procedures and infusions to other clinical areas during off-shifts, weekends and/or when work load demands. * Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decision making to determine need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions. * Implements and/or modifies plan of car using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. Qualifications: Education and Experience * Associate's Degree in Nursing, Required upon hire. Licensure and Certifications * Registered Nurse: North Dakota (RN:ND), Required upon hire. * American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required upon hire.
