Dignity Health Medical Group - Sierra Nevada, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a multi-specialty clinic with four locations in Grass Valley, California. Along with our local affiliated Dignity Health hospital (Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital), we offer an integrated care delivery system that provides primary care for family medicine and internal medicine, otolaryngology (ENT), hematology/oncology, cardiology, general surgery, urgent care, and women's health.

Responsibilities:

As an Infusion Nurse, you will administer intravenous (IV) therapies and medications, ensuring safe and effective patient care delivery.

Every day you will assess needs, manage infusion devices, meticulously prepare and administer medications, educate patients, and monitor for complications.

To be successful, you will demonstrate exceptional clinical assessment, precise technical proficiency, compassionate communication, and adherence to sterile and safety protocols.

RN performs patient assessments; provides direct patient care and administers treatments and medications; instructs patient and family in various self-administered treatments and procedures; documents assessments, observations and interventions; demonstrates professional growth and conduct; maintains equipment and supplies and initiates and maintains IV therapy and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions or military training that is equivalent to an accredited Registered Nurse program, (determination made by DH Medical Foundation Human Resources department in conjunction with the State Division of Allied Health Professionals)
* Valid and Current CA RN license
* Basic Life Support - CPR certification from the American Heart Association 
* Cancer Chemotherapy Provider (ONS) certification
* Prior Chemo Mixing experience
