Responsibilities: * Design network firewall solutions for the Enterprise Network including On-Premises Data Centers, Remote Office, and Cloud environments * Administer and configure network firewall devices * Administer and configure network security appliances * Administer firewall management system through vendor-supplied software suite * Review and assist with required hardware testing/evaluation for placement in the Data Center environments * Review and manage firewall hardware shipping and stock logistics through established processes * Manage support of all firewall infrastructure and adjunct infrastructure through Incident Management * Manage implementation and outage recovery of firewall infrastructure through Change and Problem Management best practices * Manage operational and support considerations with network firewall, logging, and reporting products with respective vendors Qualifications: * 5+ Years experience with network security concepts, mainly in network firewall infrastructure for both On-Premises Data Center, AWS Cloud, and Microsoft Azure Cloud * Experience with network firewall design, placement, support, and management administration systems and related automated tooling * Working knowledge of network (Enterprise Network) topology including Data Center Design, LAN, WAN, Routing, Switching, and Load Balancing * Understanding of firewall rule creation, implementation, and quality assurance * Understanding of firewall rule auditing processes * Working knowledge of server environments and server operating systems (Linux, Windows) * Proficiency in network macro-segmentation, with exposure to micro-segmentation and zero trust principles preferred * Exposure to AWS Cloud environments and understanding of various elements like Gateway Load Balancer (GLB), NAT Gateway, Internet Gateway (IGW), Security Groups, and Network Access Lists preferred * Vendor management experience (engagement management) preferred * Coding and scripting skills (various languages) preferred, but not required * Development or advancement of monitoring and alerting preferred, but not required * Exposure to other network hardware product lines including Cisco and HP-Aruba preferred, but not required Qualified candidates may be considered for other positions.
