				Overview:

This position is physically located in Balad, Iraq

Under the supervision of the Information Technology Manager, the Information Technology Supervisor responsibilities include supervising staff while they complete repairs and installations, providing training to new recruits, scrutinizing existing processes, writing reports, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks. You should also be able to develop optimization strategies and provide excellent customer service. To be successful as an IT supervisor, you should keep abreast of developments in your field and have the ability to quickly diagnose tech-related problems. Outstanding candidates are able to meet deadlines and keep their team focused in stressful situations.

Responsibilities:

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. 

* Serves as the primary point of contact for technology operations, maintenance and management in Iraq.
* Provides leadership and management to local IT personnel
* Ensures that IT projects and initiatives and completed on schedule and within budget.
* Coordinates daily activities / issue with Program and Senior IT Management.
* Collaborates with both program and enterprise IT leadership to achieve key operational and strategic objectives of both the customer and V2X.
* Leads Service Desk operations providing both in- person and remote troubleshooting and escalates support issues to senior IT leadership as required. 
* Authors and maintains technical and procedural documentation
* Provides operational support across all functional areas of operations, maintenance and technical support.
* Ensures adherence to enterprise standards and procedures.
* Assists with installation, maintenance, security, operation and administration of IT infrastructure
* Performs troubleshooting and problem investigation and escalates support issues as required.
* Supports the V2X standard endpoint software suite and V2X Business Systems.
* Installs, configures and deploys computer endpoints
* Assists with troubleshooting and installation of network infrastructure.
* Trains and guides users in use of equipment, operating systems and applications.
* Supports analysis, design, testing and implementation of critical infrastructure.
* Pulls and terminates low-voltage network cabling.
* Performs off-hours on-call duties as required.
* Supports other IT Department work centers and functions
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Minimum Qualification: Education/Certification:
* College degree or equivalent experience.
* Must be a U.S. Citizen.

* Preferred: Project Management Professional, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), OGAF 9 Certification, CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+. Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, HDI-CSR, MCSA Windows certification a plus.
* Experience:
* 6+ years' experience as and IT manager or equivalent role.
* Extensive knowledge of technical management and infrastructure support.

* Knowledge of Windows 10, O365, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office 2013/2016 Suite, web browsers, PC hardware, PC Networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, etc.), Active
* Directory, ticketing systems, and mobile device (iOS and Android) support.
* Experience with installation, maintenance and operation of point to point wireless technologies and Meraki network devices.

* IT Supervisor Responsibilities
* Analyzing existing computer systems and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
* Developing and overseeing the installation of systems, which include software and hardware.
* Performing tests and troubleshooting, as well as quality assurance.
* Implementing safety procedures and data recovery plans.
* Recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members.
* Developing user manuals, as well as policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
* Collaborating with other departments and professionals in the development of IT systems.
* Ensuring all installations, maintenance, and upgrades are carried out on schedule and to client specifications.
* Delegating tasks and developing budgets and work schedules.
* Staying up-to-date with field advancements and ensuring the team receives refresher training as well.

* Working Conditions:
* Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
* Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months). Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.

* Physical Requirements:
* Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
* Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
* Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
* Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
