Overview: Package Pavement Company, Inc., a manufacturer and licensee of QUIKRETE(r) products in Ravena, NY is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities: * Repair and maintain mechanical parts in our production plant and facilities, including; * Conveyors, elevators, dryers, mixing tanks, screens, etc. * Repair and maintain site vehicles, such as; * Forklifts, sweepers, tractor trailers, etc. * Inspect and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to determine cause of malfunction or extent of wear or damage * Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment using standard tools and gauges * Follow all OSHA safety regulations * Follow all company safety policies and procedures when performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Vocational training a plus * Two to five years' experience working in industrial maintenance, including; * pneumatics * hydraulics * trucks, forklifts and other moving machinery * Must have own tools
