What You Can Expect:
* Dayshift 7am-3:30pm
* The Industrial Controls Technician, under limited supervision,is responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of automation and controls systems.
* Observes functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service, repair and/or replacement of electrical, electronic and mechanical components.
* Interpret system sequences and specifications and write program logic.
* Analyzes and interprets data from solid-state motor drives and controllers scope meters and other troubleshooting equipment.
* Adjusts, calibrates and aligns circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.
* Assists with strategic planning to ensure the system is upgraded and/or replaced as needed.
* May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
* Handles moderately complex issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
* Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Education: Associates degree or 2 years additional related experience in lieu of Associates degree
* Experience: 4 years related experience
* Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License
Highly Preferred experience: Hvac background, building automation install and programing
