Overview:

The In-House Technician Level 1 is responsible for performing entry-level technical work across diagnostic imaging systems, including X-ray and MRI. This role focuses on equipment harvesting, basic component testing, and supporting repair and installation activities under supervision. The technician will follow established procedures while gaining hands-on experience with system components, electronics, and imaging equipment in a safety-focused environment.

What You'll Do:

* Perform equipment harvesting and disassembly of X-ray and MRI system components following established procedures
* Identify, remove, and handle components such as wiring, connectors, and basic electronic assemblies
* Conduct basic component testing using approved diagnostic tools and instructions
* Assist with repair, refurbishment, and reassembly of imaging system components
* Support system installation activities and preparation of equipment for testing or shipment
* Follow service manuals, schematics, and internal procedures accurately
* Document work performed and record test results as required
* Maintain tools, test equipment, and a clean, organized work environment
* Adhere to all electrical, mechanical, and workplace safety protocols
* Escalate technical issues beyond scope to senior technicians or the Modality Lead

Education & Experience:

* 0-2 years of technical, mechanical, or imaging-related experience
* Basic understanding of electronics or electromechanical systems
* Ability to follow written technical instructions and schematics
* Hands-on mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team environment and take direction
