Responsibilities:
Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech II with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. * Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
* Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
* Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.
* Capturing high-quality cardiac images
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of cath lab or special procedure experience in hospital setting required.
* High School graduate or equivalent required. Completion of formal radiology technology training in an AMA approved school meeting ARRT requirements.
* License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.
* AHA BLS card required
* AHA ACLS card required within 90 days of hire.
* Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
