Responsibilities:

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech I with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Join our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care in the realm of Cardiac Imaging.

* Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
* Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
* Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
* Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
* Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.
* Capturing high-quality cardiac images

Qualifications:

* A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiologic Technology in an AMA approved school.
* Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
* ARRT License (national) required,
*  CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.
* Certification in one modality required.
* Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date) 

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
