Overview:
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an IT Support Technician to work on-site in Elizabethville, PA.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update JANF device inventory to ensure accurate tracking of all student and staff technology assets.
* Oversee the distribution, collection, and maintenance of iPads for students and MacBooks for teachers.
* Provide front-line technical support for students, faculty, and staff across devices and platforms including Microsoft labs, iPads, and macOS systems.
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate when necessary.
* Support and manage the Content Keeper filtering system in compliance with internet safety regulations.
* Assist with device provisioning and app deployment through self-service portals.
* Document common issues, resolutions, and IT processes to support internal knowledge sharing.
* Collaborate with the IT team and faculty to resolve technical issues and support instructional technology needs.
* Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment, teacher laptops, and student devices.
* Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements based on lifecycle trends.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* 1-2 years of experience in IT support, preferably in an educational environment.
* Familiarity with Apple ecosystems, including iPads and MacBooks.
* Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and lab environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-service mindset.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a school setting.
