This position offers a hybrid work environment, which includes the ability to work from home, while also requiring a semi-regular on-site presence as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.
Responsibilities:
About the Team: The Cloud Office within Developer Services is the front door to teams looking to consume capabilities in the AWS and Azure clouds. Cloud Office responsibilities include facilitating the Cloud Governance process, stewarding the Cloud Strategy, and setting standards and best practices for how teams should operate in the cloud. The Cloud Office also engages with solution teams to provide consultation and guidance. This includes proactive engagement with DevOps teams, cloud consults, roadmapping assistance, and product management for new capabilities to the Cloud Platform automation and cloud reporting. Lastly the Cloud Office owns and provides DevOps automation related to CICD, cost optimization, and other tasks performed by teams operating in the cloud.
The Cloud Office team is excited to announce an opening for a Senior IT Product Manager! We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building products for technical customers. In this role, you will collaborate with DevOps teams to understand their needs related to infrastructure automation and other DevOps processes. You will translate their needs into feature requirements and will collaborate with teams that will design, build and roll-out the automation. The primary product is Enterprise Mobility's infrastructure-as-code automation used to build cloud environments. You will also be responsible for maturing our practices related to product management.
To succeed, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to work well with both technical resources and senior leaders. Good technical aptitude and a general understanding of cloud and DevOps concepts will also be key to your success. Qualifications:
Required:
* Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
* Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
* Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
* 8 years of related experience in the field of information technology, preferably supporting a large organization
* 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role
* Working knowledge of cloud and DevOps concepts and technologies
* Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
* Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive leadership
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate across various levels or the organization, including senior leadership
* Strong collaborative skills in a diverse organization
* Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
* Organizational, planning, and documentation skills
* Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology and workflow management tools
* Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
* Technical background with experience in cloud computing and DevOps practices
* Certified Agile or Scrum Product Owner
* Experience in leadership and team management
