This position offers the opportunity to work fully remote within the United States (except for Alaska and/or Hawaii). Responsibilities:

Technology powers nearly every facet of how we do business. That's why understanding, evaluating and prioritizing key tech efforts in flight is critical to advancing any tech and business strategy. The Portfolio Management Office is evolving, and we are looking for strong leadership to drive the transformation in becoming trusted partners that bring visibility and alignment across our portfolios that drive outcomes and align to our strategic priorities. 

The Portfolio Management Office has two exciting IT Senior Manager opportunities supporting our IT and Security domains. The role will be responsible for leading various levels of project manager professionals across the organization, to include career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance and salary reviews. Here, you will be instrumental in helping to establish the foundational processes we seek to leverage in driving greater consistency in our project and program management practice. 

Qualities that will be pertinent to the success of the individual in this role are: 

* Transformational & Inspirational Leadership - Lead and support the evolution and maturity of the PMO practices to bring our vision to fruition, recognizing when adjustments need to be made along the journey.  Ensure roles and responsibilities, standards, and processes and in alignment with the PMO's organizational expectations and encourage employee growth and leadership development. Foster a culture of collaboration, execution, and ownership with an outcome driven mindset.  
* Relationship Management & Partnering - Partner closely with sponsors, stakeholders and the PMO team to align, collaborate, and continuously improve. Build and maintain ongoing trusted relationships through proactive communication and feedback. Navigate the IT organizational structure to gain insight and a better understanding of area needs and challenges. 
* Process Improvement - Evolve processes that foster visibility and strategic alignment, incorporate governance and reporting to ensure our portfolio execution drives value realization. 
* Change Management & Resilience - Promote an environment that advocates for and supports change. Lead in the presence of ambiguity and support teams in understanding the context and drivers behind changes, such as new processes, standardization, priorities, and new roles and responsibilities. 
* Communication, Persuading & Influencing - As the front facing department to the organization, the ability to influence through clear communication is essential. Sharing information, listening to feedback, validating and negotiating expectations, partnering and providing context will be a key responsibility. 

**If local to the St. Louis or surrounding area, this position will require onsite travel to both our CCP and Lakeside campuses in St. Louis on a semi-regular basis

Qualifications:

Required:

* Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
* Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii) 
* Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
* 8+ years of relevant experience required (program / project management, governance and decision-making, business case development, budget and resource management and portfolio management) in an IT environment  
* 6+ years of experience in people leadership, to include career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance and salary reviews; Proven ability to grow and develop direct reports
* Experience as a change agent and leading teams through organizational change 
* Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills 
* Strong ability to collaborate and partner across the organization, establishing and maintaining solid working relationships with peers, vendors, senior management, portfolio managers, and other department leaders 
* Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies and tracking tools to include MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint  
* Strong project financial management knowledge 
* Proven success in working and communicating effectively within cross-functional teams
* Experience developing and delivering presentations, training sessions and demos
* Ability to establish team objectives and work approach; delegates assignments to manager(s) and/or individual contributors; reviews results to determine success of operation 
* Ability to lead by example and set high standards for performance; follows through on performance requirements 
* Strong ability to effectively manage and help resolve problems and conflicts as they arise 
* Strong business acumen, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and ability to come up to speed on business/technology area or function supported
* Experience onboarding and managing contracted resources  
* Must have a professional attitude, a strong desire and ability to take ownership, the ability to provide high quality customer service, and a willingness to expend additional effort when necessary or required 
* Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
* Experience leading a geographically distributed team 
* Ability to work in multiple project management methodologies including: Agile, Waterfall, Iterative and Hybrid
