Responsibilities:

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst.to join our Information Technology department at our corporate office.  In this position, you are responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations.  Work collaboratively within the IT Department and Business Units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.  Identifies and documents defects when performing test execution in a fast paced, fluid and changing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Assists in user acceptance testing (UAT) to include preparing test scripts, test data and participating in formal UAT
* Defects that are uncovered in the test must be recorded, summarized and utilized in post project reviews
* Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple projects and systems varying in size and continually update scripts for regression testing
* Document, analyze, and communicate results and track and report system defects to the project team
* Establish measurable test objectives for each system tested
* Identify and communicate business risks relative to testing and implementation for evaluation by project teams and management
* Make decisions when faced with competing priorities
* Review user requirement documents to ensure that requirements are testable 
* Work with business analysts and project managers to determine the most effective testing and inspection strategy for projects
* Work with the systems development team to ensure the timely, thorough testing of technological enhancements prior to release to a production environment 
* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

* High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
* Three years as a QA Analyst, required
* One year of related work experience, preferred
* Experience with Waterfall and Agile/Scrum software methodologies, preferred
* Experience with all aspects of quality assurance testing of software; unit, system and regression testing, preferred
* Experience in the Healthcare and Health Insurance industries is a plus, preferred

* Application implementations and client support 
* Familiar with commonly used concepts, terminology, practices and procedures within the field of Information Technology
* Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
* Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
* Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
* Multi-task along with attention to detail
* Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
* Work independently and as part of a team
