This IT Manager position is responsible for leading a team of System Administrators who manage Enterprise-wide device policies and OS software for all Apple and Windows based desktop/laptop end user devices in our environment. You will also manage the daily and long-term strategic lifecycle management of hardware and software assets throughout the organization, using specialized tools within ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, and Workspace One to ensure asset data quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will facilitate the planning, management, and disposition of IT assets, ensuring adherence to internal policies, controls, and vendor agreements. This position plays a critical role in setting the team vision/direction and development, managing vendor relationships, and working with internal stakeholders to deliver required technology solutions for a wide range of use cases. 

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide business and technical thought leadership with a focus on continuous service delivery optimization and improvement
* Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with IT, other internal business partners, outside vendors, and executive teams
* Provide direction and goal setting on strategy and operations, while leading a team consisting of people with diverse skills and levels of experience
* Analyze current processes and procedures in order to maintain them or make recommendations to promote effective operations within and between departments; assist in defining, improving, and documenting those processes
* Lead and/or coordinate large group activities (training, face-to-face or virtual meetings, project intake, etc.) including, but not limited to, executive leadership, IT or business partners, vendors and team meetings
* Provide and speak to strategic metrics that relate to open items, issue resolution/ analysis, and forecasting - Maintain weekly/monthly key operational performance metrics related to OS counts, software licenses, CVE patching, cost-savings opportunities, and ad-hoc analysis for escalations
* Perform contract negotiation, software licensing renewals, policy/process creation and management

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills and Qualifications:

* Deep understanding of ITAM's integration with ITSM, ITOM, FINOPS, and budget processes (CapEx/OpEx)
* Experienced in asset management tools and platforms, especially ServiceNow CMDB, SCCM, Intune, Workspace One, and GCP
* Highly-developed analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff within the IT department and across the organization
* Displays strong initiative for anticipating and meeting business demands, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a focus on generating results
