This position offers the opportunity to work fully remote within the United States (except for Alaska and/or Hawaii). Team members who choose virtual / remote work should have an adequate space to serve as their home office, and must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours. This position will require employees to come on site to one of our St. Louis campus locations a few times per year for meetings/events or as needed. #LI-REMOTE

Responsibilities:

The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for leading the execution of operational, tactical, and strategic cybersecurity initiatives on a day-to-day basis, including technical support for individual tasks. This position is responsible for determining time and resources needed to complete assignments and leads team members in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks and projects. This position is also responsible for people management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. The Manager position develops and maintains procedures that support team activities associated with specific area of expertise or responsibility and leads individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures. 

Essential Functions: 

* Provide leadership and coordination for real-time threat detection, response, and recovery efforts. 
* Responsible for guidance and management of daily security alerts including case tracking, prioritization, and communication 
* Enure constant state of incident readiness that adapts to the changing threat landscape by maintaining playbooks and processes used by the team 
* Establish and maintain key performance metrics for the team and ensure proper case management and incident severity guidelines are followed 
* Lead continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance threat detection and response capabilities. 
* Use lessons learned to improve EM's security posture in conjunction with the GCS leadership team 
* Coordinate with other IT and business units to align security strategies with enterprise objectives 
* Highly experienced professional who uses broad expertise, knowledge, and skills to resolve complex issues; contributes to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. 
* Maintain an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported. 
* Be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of results-oriented security analysts  
* Conduct performance reviews, provide mentoring and support career development of team members. 
* Proven resource manager in anticipating skill needs, planning and balancing coverage demands across multiple teams.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. 
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to different levels of audience.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
* Must reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii) 
* Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
* 6+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. 
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools, SIEM platforms, EDR, SOAR, and cloud security controls. 
* Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating diverse teams. 
* Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
* Must be available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays to ensure continuous security coverage and incident response readiness

Preferred:

* Proven experience in managing 24x7 SOC or cybersecurity operations environments.
