Looking for a paid Summer Internship opportunity? We are seeking top talent to join the IT team!
Our IT System Engineer Intern will focus on developing and enriching software solutions to monitor key IT systems that help monitor the health and status of our infrastructure. As a part of our commitment to excellent and continuous improvement, we are seeking a motivated intern to join our team and assist in comparing data sources and setting monitoring thresholds for our applications and hardware.

Responsibilities:

You Will . . .

* Contract Optimization & Cost Governance: Conduct comprehensive analysis of vendor contracts and service agreements to identify consolidation opportunities, eliminate redundancies, renegotiate unfavorable terms, and proactively manage renewal timelines. Drive cost optimization while ensuring service levels, compliance, and operational continuity are maintained across brands.
* Enterprise Data Integrity & Comparative Analysis: Perform advanced data analysis to identify discrepancies across distinct datasets and systems. Conduct structured comparisons of multiple infrastructure data sources (monitoring platforms, financial systems, asset inventories, etc.) to validate accuracy, improve data quality, and strengthen decision-making confidence.
* Data Visualization & Executive Reporting: Develop clear, actionable visualizations-including dashboards, trend analyses, and performance scorecards-to translate complex technical data into meaningful insights for engineers, brand leaders, and executive stakeholders. Support data-driven operational and financial decisions.
* Documentation & Knowledge Management: Produce thorough documentation outlining methodologies, analytical findings, system baselines, and recommended improvements. Ensure institutional knowledge is preserved and transferable, supporting scalability and audit readiness.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration & Rationalization: Work closely with engineers, brand leaders, finance, and quality assurance teams to rationalize systems, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiencies across the multi-brand enterprise. Align technical improvements with business priorities, cost objectives, and service stability.

* Work Environment: Corporate office environment with collaboration across the IT and related teams. Onsite at our corporate office located at 2170 Piedmont Rd., Atlanta, GA 30328
* Duration: 10 weeks (May-July)
* Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm

Qualifications:

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

* Enrolled in an undergraduate and working towards a BA or BS in Computer Science or Information Systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office360 productivity tools, particularly Excel, Power BI, etc
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to multitask effectively
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights
* Well-organized and a self-starter
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver on set goals
