* Business Application Support Officer
* Fulltime - 40 hours per week
* Location: Schiedam, The Netherlands

As part of our Business Application Support team, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that business users worldwide can rely on the best IT solutions. You'll get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with experts across different regions, and directly impact business success by providing top-notch support.

Responsibilities:

Application Support:

- Provide first and second-level support for business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.

User Assistance:

- Assist users with application-related queries and provide training as needed.
- Develop user guides and documentation for applications.

System Maintenance and Monitoring:

- Perform regular maintenance and updates on business applications.
- Monitor both application and interface performance and ensure system integration stability.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with IT teams, developers, and business units to implement and improve applications.
- Participate in project teams to deliver new applications or enhancements.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Generate reports on application performance and support activities.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and application optimizations.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Or experiences in a related field.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in application support or a similar role.
* Strong technical skills and familiar with an integrated business application landscape.
* Preferable some experience in interface technologies like SAP BTP, API, XML

* Excellent trouble-shoot, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Customer-focused with a proactive approach to support.
* Knowledge of specific business applications relevant to the organization.
* SAP S4 / CRM / Office 365 / Sharepoint / Teams

* Understanding of ITIL/ISM or other IT service management frameworks.
